Our Mission
Halo’s Hands exists to support the primary caregivers of medically fragile and special needs children in Allen County. While the medical system is built around the child, the parent is the foundation that makes every therapy, every appointment, and every hard day possible. Our mission is to protect that foundation.
We do this by providing:
• Practical resources — vetted local providers, benefits navigation, and equipment guidance that cut through the confusion
• Financial navigation — connecting families to grants, assistance programs, and legal planning tools that ease the financial burden of caregiving
• Community and connection — a space where no parent has to navigate this alone
Who We Are
We are parents, caregivers, and advocates who have sat in the same waiting rooms, filed the same paperwork, and felt the same overwhelm that you feel right now. Halo’s Hands was born out of necessity because we looked around and realized that while the medical system takes care of the child, nobody was taking care of the parent. We are based in Fort Wayne, Indiana and proudly serve Allen County families. Every resource, every provider, and every program listed on this site has been personally researched and vetted with one goal in mind — to make your life a little easier today than it was yesterday.
